Finally we know something more about upcoming Josh project — 7 Days In Havana. According to the official website, 7 days in Havana is a contemporary snapshot of this iconic and eclectic city, seen through a feature-length movie made up of 7 chapters directed by 7 international filmmakers. Josh takes a part in first day of the movie, Benicio Del Toro’s “El Yuma” (“El Yuma”, Cuban slang for “The American”).
Plot: Teddy Atkins is a young American tourist who travels to Havana for the first time. His driver, a middle-aged Cuban cab driver who has a university degree in engineering will offer him a touristic tour of the city that is anything but traditional.
I added 6 high quality promotional photos to the photo gallery, so check them out!

Check also the video where Josh Hutcherson talks about his role in Benicio del Toro short.
I don’t know what you think, but personally, I can’t wait! It’s something different than previous Josh movies.
I’m so sorry for that I haven’t update the site for a month, but I’m busy right now, you know, studying on university is very hard to me and I study on and on. But, as you see, I found a sec to writing some news. Let’s start!
On November 15, Vanity Fair has posted on its site short interview with Josh. Josh talks audition proccess for The Hunger Games, Peeta and Jennifer Lawrence.
Krista Smith: Tell me about getting this role.
Josh Hutcherson: It was a very rigorous auditioning process. I’ve been a fan of the series for a little while now, and I went in and I met with Gary and Suzanne [Collins, the author of the Hunger Games books] and a couple of the producers initially, and I did a little audition. It was great, and I really hit it off with them and felt really good about it. And then a couple weeks went by, which were brutal. And then they brought me in to do a screen test, basically, with Jennifer, where I read with her. . . . And then I had to wait another couple of weeks or so before I found out that I got the part. And that was brutal, after doing a screen test. I think it was actually about a week and a half, [and] waiting to hear anything was just, like, ugh. Because I wanted it so badly, and all that time just lying there, waiting to see what happens, was pretty rough.
Krista Smith: Have you read the books?
Josh Hutcherson: I don’t read a whole lot of books, because I’m usually busy reading scripts, but these books were so good that I literally read all three of them over the course of five days or something. I really powered through them. And while I was reading the books, my mind was being blown as to how much I felt like I was like Peeta, and how I felt like I could relate. I’ve never really felt more right for a character in my whole life. That, in a way, is kind of even more scary, because if you don’t get hired, it’s like, Oh my God, what am I? What am I doing? What’s wrong?
Krista Smith: And how is it working with Jennifer?
Josh Hutcherson: [She] and I totally hit it off. We’re both very crazy people—we don’t really hold anything back. Which is really great. We were able to have a really good time, and not let anything get in the way of it looking stupid or anything like that. We probably look stupid like 99 percent of the time, but we have a good time doing it—so it’s worth it.

20 Most Stylish Men of 2011
InStyle.com has posted their ranking for 20 Most Stylish Men of 2011. In their opinion, Josh is one of them. On the list are also: Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, (Josh’s co-star) Liam Hemsworth, David Beckham, Bradley Cooper and the others. Congrats Josh! ;-) We think the same thing, don’t we? To see full list go here.
Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson put a fresh spin on traditional red-carpet looks at the Independent Spirit Awards, adding a leather jacket to an untucked chambray shirt and striped tie.
Josh also talks Peeta with Seventeen magazine. Read the short article below.
On Love at First Sight:
“I don’t think I’ve had love at first sight. But, I’ve definitely had moments where I’ve see a person, and I’m like, ‘Wow, there is something different about you, and I really want to get to know you.’ I haven’t really gained up the courage to talk to those girls. I still get a little nervous when talking to girls. Which is awful, and embarrassing, because I feel like I shouldn’t.”
On Peeta’s Love for Katniss:
“That kind of love, I haven’t experienced, except with my family, thus far. But, I definitely look forward to the day at one point, where I get to meet a girl where I have the same love for her that I have for my family. Because, that love I have for my family is undying, unconditional. You know my little brother can get pretty hot headed sometimes, and you kind of want to punch him. But, you love them so much you’d do anything for them.”
What do you think about love and relationship of Peeta and Katniss in The Hunger Games? Do you think the same like Josh? Let me know in comments! ;-)
During filming Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, ComingSoon.net had a chance to talk with Josh and his co-star Vanessa Hudgens about their new project. Read the interview below and tell me what you think! ;-)
Q: Is it true that both you’ve been injured on set all ready?
Josh Hutcherson: Slightly. Not injured. Hurt, I’d say. Injury I think is a long term thing. We were doing a scene at this place called Eternity Beach which is a beautiful location and there’s this little cave that we kind of go in and check out. We got into the cave and did that scene and cut and coming back out they were like, ‘Watch your heads?’ I was like, ‘Oh, I’m not that tall. I’m not going to hit on anything,’ but I stepped on a little bump, I guess and then I hit the top of my head so hard I fell straight to the ground. I didn’t remember the fall and stuff. I just remember hitting my head and then being on the ground. Then Dwayne was like, ‘Oh, my God, are you okay?’
Vanessa Hudgens: I was a few feet away and heard a massive thump. That’s never a good thing! Then we were shooting a scene down on the same beach and there are just lava rocks everywhere. I was walking backwards. Very smart. Before I knew I was on the floor. I got up and brushed it off like nothing happened and then later on someone pointed at my leg and said, ‘Is that real blood or fake blood?’ Now I have a beautiful scar to show for it. We’ll always remember this movie. It’ll always be a part of me.
Q: Were you guys glad to get into the jungle and do the down and dirty stuff?
Josh: Totally. It’s really fun. We’ve been covered in mud now for most of the entire movie, which sounds like fun at the beginning, but then after about day thirty of being in mud it’s like, ‘I’m sort of over it.’ But we’ve been all these beautiful places and it’s usually really nice out. For me, I’m personally a huge fan of rainy weather. So I’m loving this right now.
Today, MTV posted another part of their interview with Josh. Josh answers three questions, that are obviously related to currently the biggest project, The Hunger Games. Read this part below, and if you live in USA, you can watch the video with the interview. Are you excited? ;-)
MTV: What can you tell us about that costume in the arena?
Josh Hutcherson: The costumes in the arena are very practical, which they had to be, not only for the purpose of the characters but also for us as actors because sometimes it was 95 degrees in the forest, and you’re running around and you want to make sure you’re wearing the right clothes and the appropriate attire and the right kind of shoes and everything. So we made it very real.
MTV: What about the one that is on fire?
Hutcherson: The one that’s on fire, I don’t want to say anything about that yet, you’ll have to wait for it. It’s very cool, I promise you. It’s very cool.
MTV: Have you been following any of the fan fervor surrounding the film?
Hutcherson: Obviously the fans are crazy about it, which I’m really excited for them to see it. But for me, I stay away from a lot of that stuff, just because I don’t really look at it all that much. But I hear some things people are saying, and it’s pretty cool. It’s exciting to hear people are that interested in something you’re doing, so it’s a little nerve-racking, but I’m onboard. The fans for “The Hunger Games,” they’re die-hard. They’re the best fans in the world so I’m really excited for them to see the movie.
